Privacy Policy

A self-custody wallet built for privacy: your keys, your data, your computer.

Effective date: 28 October 2026

1. Overview

Ninji Wallet is a self-custody desktop wallet for the Injective ecosystem, planned for Windows, macOS and Linux. This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use our website and, once released, the desktop application.

The short version: your keys, your recovery phrase and your assets never leave your computer. We do not operate accounts, we do not ask for personal information, and we do not sell data.

2. What we do not collect

Ninji Wallet does not collect, store or transmit:

  • your private keys or recovery phrase — they are generated and stay encrypted on your device;
  • your password — it is used locally to unlock the app and encrypt your wallet files;
  • account registration data — there are no accounts to register;
  • your asset balances or transaction history for our own use — the app reads them from the public Injective network for display only;
  • contact lists, messages, photos, documents or any other personal files on your computer.

3. How the desktop application works

The application runs entirely on your computer. Your wallet is encrypted locally with your password. To display balances, token prices and staking information, the app connects to public Injective network nodes and read-only data services. These requests contain only the public address of the wallet you are viewing — never your keys or recovery phrase.

When you send a transaction or interact with an Injective dApp, the signed transaction is broadcast to the network. Broadcasts are public by design: they contain your public address, the recipient and the amount, as with any blockchain transaction.

4. The website

The Ninji website is informational. We do not require sign-up, and we do not build user profiles from your browsing. Like almost every website, our hosting infrastructure may process standard, short-lived technical records (such as IP address, browser type and requested pages) for security, abuse prevention and basic traffic statistics.

If you contact us at support@ninji.io, we use your email address only to answer your message and then keep the correspondence as long as needed to resolve your request.

5. Cookies

The website does not use advertising cookies and does not load third-party advertising or profiling scripts. Only minimal, functional storage may be used where strictly needed for the site to work.

6. Third-party services

The application may connect to public Injective network infrastructure and community data services (for example price or validator information). Their own privacy practices apply to the data you send them through ordinary use of the blockchain. We recommend reviewing the documentation of any dApp before connecting your wallet to it.

7. Security

Your wallet data is encrypted locally and protected by your password. Because we never receive copies of your keys or recovery phrase, a compromise of our systems cannot expose them. Keep your operating system and Ninji Wallet up to date, and download the application only from the official website.

8. Your rights

Because we do not hold personal profiles or account data, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct or delete. If you believe we have processed personal data about you (for example through a support conversation), write to us and we will look into it and honour applicable rights under data-protection law, such as access, correction and erasure.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under the age at which digital-asset activity is permitted in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to this policy

As the desktop application moves from development to release, this policy will be updated to reflect how the final product works. The current version is always published on this page with its effective date.
