Ninji Wallet documentation: your Injective wallet guide

Everything you need to install, secure and use your Injective wallet on Windows, macOS and Linux.

01 · Getting started

Introduction

Ninji Wallet is a self-custody desktop wallet for the Injective ecosystem. It runs as a native application on Windows, macOS and Linux, so your keys are generated and stored on your own computer — never on our servers.

This documentation walks you through installing the app on each platform, creating or importing a wallet, protecting your recovery phrase and using everyday features like sending, receiving and staking INJ.

Installers are being prepared. Download buttons on the website will become active as soon as each platform build is published.

Security basics

Self-custody means you alone control your funds. Before installing, keep these rules in mind:

  1. 1Your 12-word recovery phrase is the only way to restore your wallet. Write it on paper and store it offline.
  2. 2Ninji will never ask for your recovery phrase by email, chat or support ticket.
  3. 3Only download Ninji Wallet from the official website. Verify the file before installing.
  4. 4Use a strong, unique password to unlock the app on your device.
If you lose your recovery phrase, nobody — including the Ninji team — can recover your assets.

NextImport a wallet →
07 · Using the wallet

Import a wallet

Only enter your recovery phrase inside the installed Ninji app — never on a website.
NextSend & receive →
08 · Using the wallet

Send & receive

Receive

Open Receive to display your Injective address and QR code. Share only this address.

Send

  1. 1Choose Send and select the token.
  2. 2Paste the recipient address and enter an amount.
  3. 3Review the network fee and confirm the transaction.
Always double-check the recipient address. Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed.
NextStaking INJ →
09 · Using the wallet

Staking INJ

Staking lets you delegate INJ to a validator that helps secure the Injective network. In return you earn a share of network rewards, while your tokens remain under your own control.

Delegate

  1. 1Open Staking and browse the list of active validators.
  2. 2Compare commission, voting power and uptime before choosing.
  3. 3Enter the amount of INJ to delegate and review the fee.
  4. 4Confirm with your password. Rewards begin accruing after the next block.

Claim, redelegate & undelegate

Claim accumulated rewards at any time. You can move your stake to another validator without waiting, or undelegate to make tokens transferable again after the Injective unbonding period ends.

Tokens in the unbonding period do not earn rewards and cannot be sent until the period completes.

Tokens & NFTs

The Assets view lists INJ and every Injective token held by your address, with balances refreshed automatically. Hidden or small balances can be toggled from the list settings.

Add a custom token

  1. 1Open Assets and choose Add token.
  2. 2Paste the token's denom or contract address.
  3. 3Confirm the symbol and decimals, then save.

NFT gallery

Injective NFTs appear in a dedicated gallery. Open any item to see its collection, attributes and transfer it to another address.

NextConnecting to dApps →
11 · Using the wallet

Connecting to dApps

Ninji Wallet can approve connections and signing requests from Injective applications. Every request opens a review window inside the desktop app showing the site, the action requested and the estimated fee.

  1. 1Choose Ninji Wallet when an Injective dApp asks you to connect.
  2. 2Review the permissions requested and approve or reject.
  3. 3Manage or revoke connected sites anytime in Settings → Connected apps.
Never sign a request you do not understand. Malicious sites can ask for approvals that move your assets.
NextMultiple wallets →
12 · Using the wallet

Multiple wallets

Create several accounts from one recovery phrase or import independent wallets, then switch between them from the account menu. Rename accounts and assign colours to keep personal, trading and long-term holdings separate.

NextBackup & recovery →
13 · Security

Backup & recovery

Your recovery phrase restores your wallet on any computer running Ninji Wallet. Treat it like the keys to a vault.

Do
Write it on paper or a metal backup and store it in a secure, offline place.
Do
Keep a second copy in a separate location for disaster recovery.
Don't
Take screenshots, save it in notes apps, email or cloud storage.
Don't
Share it with anyone — including people claiming to be support.

Restore on a new computer

  1. 1Install Ninji Wallet for your platform.
  2. 2Choose Import Wallet and enter your 12 words in order.
  3. 3Set a new local password. Your accounts reappear automatically.
NextVerify downloads →
14 · Security

Verify downloads

Always confirm that the installer you downloaded is authentic before running it. Each release will publish a SHA-256 checksum next to its download.

Windows (PowerShell)

Get-FileHash .\ninji-wallet-setup.exe -Algorithm SHA256

macOS & Linux (Terminal)

shasum -a 256 ./ninji-wallet*

Compare the result with the checksum on the official website. If they differ, delete the file and do not install it.
